5,000 gas industry employees expected to protest against Minister Nita

Approximately 5,000 gas industry employees are expected to take part in a protest against Energy Minister Constantin Nita who announced on Friday that he will move to Bucharest the leadership of ROMGAZ and TRANSGAZ, a decision that dissatisfied the unions of the two state-owned companies, Ioan Stoicovici, leader of the ROMGAZ Free Union, stated yesterday, ziarero.antena3.ro informs. The protest will take place outside the Medias City Hall. Stoicovici pointed out that he and the president of the TRANSGAZ union will coordinate the protest in Medias on Tuesday and will not take part in talks with Minister Nita, whom they accuse of seeking “to mount a diversion by inviting us at the ministry precisely on Tuesday at 12.30 PM.”
