Russian sacred and traditional music in Bucharest, Iasi and Timisoara

The Choir of the Saint Isaak Cathedral of Sankt Petersburg, conducted by Lev Dunaev, soloist – basso Denis Sedov – will tour Romania for the first time, April 18 – 22. The tour includes three concerts as follows: “Banatul” Philharmonic Timisoara, April 18; the National Opera Iasi, April 20, and the Athenaeum Bucharest, April 22. The program includes works by P.I. Tchaikovsky, Sergey Rachmaninov, Dimitri Bortnianski, Dobri Hristov, Pavel Cesnokov, Pavel Tolsteakov and traditional Russian music.
