Half a billion users will be able to simultaneously use the online services that provide information about the European Union’s legislation (EUR-Lex), publications (EU Bookshop) and public acquisition contracts (TED) through a complex portal developed by SIVECO Romania, as part of a framework contract that covers the next two years, reads a press release.
The portal will be developed by the Publications Office of the European Commission. The new portal will feature over 390,000 public acquisition announcements, 5,900 publications and 2,000 legal decisions made public each year. A very large amount of information will be easily available via simple and advanced search functions, which allow users to identify the relevant piece of information with significantly higher speed. Another essential advantage of this portal is represented by its ability to automatically notify the user about the novelties that appeared in the specific areas of interest, available for any type of equipment, including mobile terminals.
