Volksbank Romania launches RON-denominated consumer loan with fixed 12 pc interest

Volksbank Romania launched a RON-denominated consumer loan – Credit de Economii – with a fixed promotional interest of 12 pc, 2.5 percent points smaller than the standard interest of 14.50 pc, reads a press release. The promotion is in effect during April-May 2013. Customers who will take a consumer loan during this interval will enjoy a reduced interest during the entire duration of the contract and, additionally, the bank will refund each month 5 pc of the interests paid for the loan to a savings account provided freely, without opening and administration commissions. In the case of the ‘Credit de Economii’ product, Volksbank does not charge commissions of analysis and administration of the loan. The bank also offers for free a life insurance for the beneficiary of the loan, during the whole duration of the contract. Moreover, customers who contract this type of product can also save extra sums in the savings account which they receive for free. The maximum sum that can be contracted is RON 70,000.
