The 1,500 euro (RON 6,500) value ticket given under the “Car Scrap” program can be transmissible, although the price reduction could only apply to a single vehicle, Environment Minister Rovana Plumb announced at the opening yesterday of the Romenvirotec Fair at Romexpo, Mediafax reports.
The 2013 “Car Scrap” program will be put for public debate for a week on the Environment Ministry website on April 15. Observations and proposals from those interested in the issue are welcome. Plumb also said the price reduction cannot exceed the equivalent of three value tickets per buyer upon the purchase of a new car.
