A 15-year old girl from the US was bitten by a lioness at the Radauti Zoo on Tuesday, after she had entered a prohibited perimeter.
Zoo official Angela Olenici says the teenager poked her leg through the cage bars, at which time the lioness grabbed her leg with both front claws and bit her by the ankle. The girl was taken to the Emergency Hospital of Suceava where she will undergo surgery and have her wound sutured.
