An initiative group made up Romanian entrepreneurs with an aggregate turnover in excess of 3 bln euro launched the proceedings toward setting up the Romanian Investors Association (AIR), with the official founding event to be held on April 17, according to a press release yesterday, adevarul.ro reports. ‘The chief goal of this association is to sustain and promote Romanian capital,’ said Interagro owner Ioan Niculae, Romania’s richest man. The event will be attended by tens of major Romanian entrepreneurs, with an aggregate turnover of over 3 bln euro, from agriculture, tourism, rail transport, trade, food industry, energy, IT, retail, constructions, medical and pharmaceutical services etc.
