Thirteen cars were set aflame Wednesday morning on a street in the district of Drumul Taberei in Bucharest, Mediafax quoted city police officials as saying. Eight of the 13 vehicles were completely wrecked. All of them were privately owned. The act is supposed to be the work of a pyromaniac. The spokesman for the Bucharest Inspectorate for Emergency Situations said that firefighters came at the scene in four fire trucks and quenched the fire in 40 minutes. Six of the vehicles were destroyed by the fire, among them a motorcycle, which sustained the worst damage.
