Mechel Campia Turzii files for insolvency

Steel mill Mechel Campia Turzii (INSI) filed for insolvency at the Cluj Tribunal, being the third former company of Mechel group that resorts to this measure. The insolvency request was submitted to the court on March 22, reads a communiqué sent by the company on Friday, April 12, to the Rasdaq market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB). The court will give a verdict Wednesday, April 17.

Two more companies that were controlled by Russian group Mechel in Romania, Mechel Targoviste and Laminorul Braila entered insolvency in February and March, respectively.
