Fitch affirms Romania’s credit rating at “BBB-”, stable outlook

Fitch affirmed Romania’s long-term foreign currency issuer default rating at “BBB-”, stable outlook, taking into account successful financial consolidation and stabilization in the internal political scene against a poor growth outlook, structural weaknesses and exposure to the risk of renewed deterioration in the eurozone. The credit rating agency also affirmed Romania’s long-term home currency issuer default rating at “BBB”, and short-term rating of “F3”, according to the Fitch press release.
