Folk Traditions Fair in the National Park

Bucharesters are invited at a new edition of the Folk Traditions Fair, in the National Park, this evening thru Sunday.

The event is aimed at promoting genuine Romanian traditions in the run-up to Orthodox Easter celebrations. Each of the nearly 80 stalls will be set up as a small Romanian traditional household. According to the District 2 Mayoralty, each of them will display meats, cheeses, pies, sponge cakes, gingerbread, honey, plum jam, fresh fruits and vegetables, wine, as well as handicrafts, household tools, ceramic pots and vessels and adornments.

“From the little village brought into the heart of the city, each passerby can stop and taste shaft steaks, tens of fish dishes or drink a mug of wine or glass of bear, all amid music and a merry atmosphere,”, according to the local administration.
