Gymnastics: European Championships to start in Moscow

The European Artistic Gymnastic Championships will start in Moscow on Friday and will end on Sunday, the competition’s official website informs.After Wednesday’s qualifiers, Romania will be represented in the finals by Flavius Koczi in the floor and vault events, Andrei Muntean in the uneven bars event, and Cristian Bataga in the individual all-around event.

Flavius Koczi will once again try to win medals in an important competition, after he managed to qualify for the floor event’s final with the fifth-best result– 15.300, but also with the highest degree of difficulty tackled by any of the finalists – 6.9, receiving 8.400 points for the execution. Likewise, Koczi managed to qualify for the vault event’s final with the third-best result – 15.054 – and is once again among the top favorites.
