“Chernobyl: after 27 years” at Peasant Museum

The photography exhibition entitled “Chernobyl: after 27 years” will open at the Acvariu Hall of the Romanian peasant Museum Bucharest today, 3.00 pm, and will stay open until May 12, the institution announced. The photographs on display were taken  during 1994-1999 and present the deadly effects of the nuclear catastrophe: wrecked villages, dead wells, blind windows of derelict homes, plundered dwellings and ovens left from burnt houses above which towers  the sarcophagus of the Chernobyl reactor no 4.
