Special company set up for Rosia Montana

The government will set up a new company that will be in charge exclusively with the Rosia Montana project, an operation already planned in a document which also mentions that the project can bring several billions of USD to the state budget, while also reviving the mining industry and creating jobs, Mediafax reports. The new company, which will be named ‘Minvest Rosia Montana’, will take from Minvest Deva the stake of 19.3 pc in Rosia Montana Gold Corporation, will have as activity object providing services to “the extraction of minerals” and will report to the delegate Minister for Infrastructure Projects of national interest and foreign investments Dan Sova (PSD).
