Constitution-dedicated Senate extraordinary session likely

At the beginning of the USL parliamentary groups session Monday, PNL President Crin Antonescu said that, if need be, an extraordinary Senate session will be convened on the conclusion of voting of the constitutional amendment bill. “Certainly, we have pledged a calendar whose optimum form would mean the finalization by the Senate of the amendment bill by the end of this parliamentary session, or, unless possible, in an extraordinary session,” said Antonescu, who insisted on the intensification of the public, political and parliamentary process, and in the USL as well.
