The speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Valeriu Zgonea said Monday that the Permanent Bureau decided to send a favorable answer to the letter sent by President Traian Basescu on March 23 regarding a pact between Parliament, Government and Presidency. “Today (Monday) I will send a letter to President Traian Basescu. It is a point of view in which we manifest our availability, in this power triangle, to fulfil all the commitments we have which were made after December 9 in front of citizens and, of course, as a European state, in front of European institutions. The letter of the president is absolutely correct and normal, it is about the functioning of state institutions,” Zgonea said yesterday.
