The greens interrupt the collaboration with PSD

Deputy Remus Cernea announced Monday that the Green Party interrupts the collaboration with USL and he personally withdraws from the PSD group, following the start of the projects regarding the shale gas. Cernea, the leader of the Green Party, was elected deputy in the uninominal constituency 9 of Constanta, representing USL, and belonged to the parliamentary group of PSD. The extraction of the shale gas was discussed in the meeting of the joint groups of USL, where the minister of Environment, Rovana Plumb and premierul Victor Ponta presented the topic. After the cabinet meeting, Plumb announced that the government has the political support of USL in Parliament for the shale gas extraction strategy. PM Victor Ponta, too, said yesterday that only the exploration of shale gas has started now, which has no impact upon the environment, and the decision about using these resources will be made five years from now.
