Senator Tudor Barbu says he’s not leaving PPDD

Senator Tudor Barbu, PPDD Vice President, said after a meeting of the party group in the Senate also attended by Dan Diaconescu, on Monday, that he would not quit the party and that he was not trying to convince his colleagues to forge an alliance with PSD. Dan Diaconescu, in his turn, said his party would not enter into an alliance or support agreement with any of the ruling or opposition parties and assured that none of the PPDD senators and deputies would defect. He accused PSD and PNL of being on the point of breaking up USL and therefore seeking PPDD MPs’ support in order to strengthen their respective positions, PSD leaders being caught ‘in flagrante’ while trying to do that through Radu Popa.
