5,000 runners at Bucharest International Semi-Marathon

5,000 runners from 40 countries are expected to take part in the Bucharest International Semi-Marathon on Sunday, Agerpres informs, a marathon whose start and finish lines will be located within Constitutiei Square. The winners of the men’s and women’s races will received EUR 1,000 each, the runners-up EUR 500 each and those who finish on third place EUR 300 each. “Elite athletes from Kenya and Ethiopia, as well as several from Romania’s national team are taking part in the event,” Valeria Racila van Groningen, President of the Bucharest Running Club Association, pointed out.
