This year’s Japanese Film Festival is dedicated to ninja and will be held at the Eforie Hall of the Romanian Cinematheque in Bucharest, May 21-26, Mediafax reports. The event is organized by Japan’s Embassy in Bucharest and the Japan Foundation, in cooperation with the National Film Archive – Romanian Cinematheque. The motion pictures are projected on 35mm film and shown with English subtitles. Animation film “Cyborg 009: Legend of a Super Galaxy” is the only film to be screened with Romanian subtitles. The films will be shown every day at 7.00 pm, save for Sunday when there will be two screenings, at 3.00 pm and 6.00 pm. Admission is free, within the limit of available seats The festival starts off with “Samurai-Wind of Justice” and carries on Tuesday with “Ninja from the Fog “, “Return of the Ninja”, “Samurai Spy”, “Sanada Chronicles”, “The Revenge of a Kabuki Actor”.
