London-Cluj flight redirected to Targu Mures because of storm

A London-Cluj Wizz Air flight was redirected yesterday afternoon to Targu Mures because of a storm in Cluj, the more than 150 passengers being taken by car to Cluj-Napoca, a press communiqué released by the representatives of the “Transilvania” International Airport in Targu Mures informs, being quoted by Mediafax. The Targu Mures Airport’s representatives also informed that a Wizz Air airliner took off for London at 12 PM.

Its 160 passengers had been waiting in the airport since 6.40 AM when the airliner should have taken off but had technical problems. The airliner was replaced by one which flew from Budapest. Its technical problems were later fixed and the airliner took off for Bologna at 2 PM, the airport’s representatives added.
