PDL puts together “list of shame”

PDL deputies leader, Mircea Toader, said the party would make a “list of shame” to contain the names of the 259 majority deputies who voted against voters’ will at the 2009 referendum. The list will be sent to electoral colleges. Toader says the action is similar to that by the former opposition, which published in constituencies photographs of the lawmakers who voted in favor of austerity measures. According to   Toader, PDL will report to pictures of majority deputies that will be put in individual mail boxes and on bulletin boards.  He said that PDL will continue supporting in the Constitutional Revision Commission the electorate will expressed at the valid referendum. The Chamber of deputies rejected Tuesday, 259-41, and 18 abstentions, the constitutional revision bill originated by President Traian Basescu in 2011.
