The Democrat-Liberal Party (PDL) organized last evening the “Day of the Democrat-Liberal Party,” an event marking 20 years since the setting up of the Democrat Party, which subsequently became the Democrat-Liberal Party, romanialibera.ro informs.
The event took place at PDL’s central headquarters in Bucharest.The event was about to be attended, apart from PDL President Vasile Blaga, by members of the central leadership, local leaders, MPs, young Democrat-Liberals, as well as members and sympathizers. The event was opened by a speech given by PDL President Vasile Blaga. After that, awards were to be handed out to party branches and members and new PDL members were about to be welcomed in the party. At the same time, traditional Romanian culinary products from various regions of the country were going to be promoted at the event. The event was to conclude with a party. “The schedule of the event will include the following moments: PDL President Vasile Blaga’s speech, the speech of EPP Group chairman Joseph Daul, the handing out of awards to PDL branches and members, the signing up of new members and PDL President Vasile Blaga and interim PDL Bucharest president Adriean Videanu handing out party membership cards, the promotion of traditional Romanian culinary products from various regions, party,” the press invitation reads.
