Seculici withdrawal from the leadership of PDL Arad

The president of the Arad County branch of PDL, Gheorghe Seculici on Saturday announced his resignation from this office (which he held for 15 years) after he was recently elected as president of the Arad Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, Mediafax reports. Seculici said that the two positions were not incompatible with each other, but he still wanted to withdraw from the top position with PDL Arad “in order to allow a younger generation to take over the organisation and reinforce it.” He mentioned that he will remain a member of PDL and will coordinate the internal elections, which are estimated to take place in September.
