Sorin Popa gives up mandate of member of the BRD Board

Sorin Popa gave up the mandate of member of the Administration Board of BRD – Groupe Societe Generale (BRD) starting 03.06.2013, according to an announcement sent by the bank yesterday to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB), Mediafax informs. He started his career in 1993 at the Bucharest branch of Societe Generale and continued as number 2 in BRD, and for the last year and a half he worked with the international retail division in Paris. BRD shares ended the trading session Monday on the increase by 2.25 pc, to RON 8.18. At this quotation, the capitalisation of the bank is RON 5.7 bln (EUR 1.292 bln).
