CEC Bank hikes capital by RON 32.5 M

CEC Bank has hiked its registered capital by RON 32.5 M to RON 1.124 bln, by capitalizing the profit obtained last year, the bank announced in a communiqué. “The hiking of CEC Bank’s registered capital is necessary both in the current competitive context and from the point of view of the bank’s future development projects,” Radu Gratian Ghetea, the President of CEC Bank, stated in the communiqué. The bank’s assets registered an 8.5 per cent year-on-year growth last year, to RON 26.9 bln, against the backdrop of a 10.2 per cent hike in deposits, to RON 19.4 bln. At the end of last year CEC Bank had 6,548 employees, 1,128 active units, 1,076 ATMs and 984,000 active cards.
