ABB supports the technical education in Romania

ABB Romania has recently sponsored two Romanian universities by equipping their technical laboratories with ABB electrical apparatus to be used for teaching purposes, according to a press release. The “Technical University of Cluj-Napoca” is one of the recipients and here ABB equipped six main laboratories within the Electrical Engineering Faculty, with apparatus such as relays, contactors and breakers. The second recipient is the “Petru Maior” University in Targu Mures, where the ABB equipment has been installed in a number of eight laboratories within the Faculty of Engineering. The received apparatus will be very useful for the study and master programs in the field of power and respectively systems engineering. Other Romanian institutions of higher education whose laboratories are endowed with ABB equipment are the “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University in Iasi and the Technical University in Bacau.
