Minister of Economy Varujan Vosganian on Wednesday discussed with a delegation of Israeli businessmen about the Romanian authorities’ intention to put up for privatisation the Mangalia (southeastern Romania, the Black Sea shore) Military Shipyard, according to a release of the Ministry of Economy, Agerpres reports. According to the above mentioned release, Varujan Vosganian received a delegation representing the Israeli company Shlomo Group, made up of Shlomo Shmeltzer – Chairman, Avi Shashaf – CEO Israel Shipyards Ltd Haifa and Dudy Perry – the representative of the Israeli company in Romania. At the meeting the two parties discussed about the Ministry of Economy’s intention to put up for privatisation the Mangalia Military Shipyard, announced in a series of official statements Vosganian made in this regard in late May.
