CSAT meets today

The Supreme Defence Council (CSAT) meets today at 3.00 PM at the Cotroceni Palace, with the agenda also including a discussion about the state of the defence industry and the Army equipping plan for 2013-2022, the Presidency announced. Other topics of the agenda are: Romania’s military contribution to missions and operations outside the territory of the Romanian state in 2014; the White Charter of Defence; the Report on the activity of the Center of Response to Cybersecurity Incidents. Also on the agenda of the CSAT meeting held Monday are the privatisation of the aeronautical defence industry – Romaero, IAR Ghimbav and Avioane Craiova SA, Economy minister Varujan Vosganian announced.
