The Chamber of Deputies adopted yesterday, with 262 votes to 15 and 22 abstentions, a draft law that returns the pensions of military personnel to the level before the recalculation operated in 2010, as of October 1, 2013, Mediafax reports. The initiative belongs to several PSD and PNL members of the Parliament, including Gabriel Oprea, Corneliu Dobritoiu, Gabriel Vlase, George Scutaru, Mihaita Calimente, Radu Stroe. PDL deputy Gheorghe Tinel said that PDL abstained from voting because it is not convinced that the law will make justice to the end. The Chamber of Deputies is the decision-making institution regarding this draft law.
