EUR 50 M for first scientific park

Cluj County Council will set up the first scientific and technological park in Romania – Tetapolis – to host research laboratories and business incubators, the investment amounting to approximately EUR 50 M, Mediafax reports. According to the President of Cluj County Council, Horea Uioreanu, the future park will provide the liaison between the business and academic environment. SC Tetarom SA Director Viorel Gavrea in turn said the future park would stand on 10 hectares still to be identified, at no more than 10 km out of Cluj-Napoca.
