Israeli Embassy’s Consular Section closed because of diplomatic strike, paper says

The Israeli Embassy’s Consular Section is closed, starting yesterday, as a result of the general strike within the Israeli Foreign Affairs Ministry, ‘Jurnalul National’ daily informs. According to the aforementioned source, the announcement was posted by the Israeli Embassy on its Facebook page. The announcement also pointed out that in case of emergency the persons interested are invited to contact the Consular Section at the following email address: consular2@bucharest.mfa.gov.il.
‘Jurnalul National’ wrote on June 12 that tensions were growing among the ranks of Israeli diplomats who had been dissatisfied for a long time with the fact that they are poorly paid and especially that they feel increasingly powerless and lacking influence in foreign policy.
