Saints Peter and Paul Fair at Village Museum

The “Dimitrie Gusti” National Museum is holding the Saints Peter and Paul Fair June 28-30, where visitors can witness specific customs, book and CD launches, scientific conferences, old music, jazz and fanfare music.
According to après release signed by Paula Popoiu, the museum’s general director, the Village Museum will host Romanian Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Greek and Roma folk ensembles. As with the previous editions, handicraftsmen will bring homemade bowls, masks, beads, traditional dishes, honey, sponge cakes and millet beer.
The meeting with the best known Romanian traditional folk music performers will be under the sign of the 63rd anniversary of maestro Liviu Vasilica.
Cuban handicraftsmen will also display their traditional items at the fair.
The event will run Friday, Noon to 7.00 pm, Saturday and Sunday, 9.00 am -7.00 pm.
