Dacia, top increase on the French market

In H1 this year, Dacia had the biggest increase – in percents – on the French auto market, of 7.3 pc, to 46,900 units, but in June it experienced a decline of 18.7 pc to 8,200 registrations of new cars, according to data released yesterday by the French automakers’ association, quoted by Mediafax. The market share of the Romanian brand, which is part of the Renault group, soared in the first six months of the year, in France, to 4.19 pc, from 3.48 pc a year ago. Over the same interval, the French market dropped by 11 pc, to 1.118 million units from 1.256 million in the similar interval of 2012. In June, the number of new car registrations in France diminished by 9 pc to approximately 225,000 units.
