Warning of torrential rain and strong wind countrywide, valid until tomorrow morning

Meteorologists have issued a weather warning according to which starting yesterday at 3 p.m. until tomorrow at 4 p.m. we will be experiencing torrential rain, electric discharges, wind set-ups and hailstorms in the west, north and centre of the country at the start of the interval, and in the eastern regions subsequently. ”We’ll be experiencing heavy rain, which may turn into torrential rain, electric discharges, wind set-ups, occasionally gales, and hailstorms”, according to a press release by the National Meteorology Administration (ANM). According to the cited source, the water quantity will exceed 20 litres per square metre and, in particular areas, 50 litres per square metre.
