Minister Vosganian to head economic mission to Mexico

Romania’s Economy Minister Varujan Vosganian will head a delegation of the Economy Ministry (ME) and an economic mission to promote the Romanian naval industry in Mexico, over July 15-17, informs ME release. After Mexico, the Romanian economic mission made up of the representatives of seven Romanian trade companies, ship industry makers and exporters, continues to Panama, on July 18-19. On sidelines of his official visit to Mexico, Minister Varujan Vosganian will hold talks with Foreign Minister Jose Antonio Kuribrena and with Economy Minister Ildefonso Guajardo Villarreal. The agenda’s main goals are the consolidation of the bilateral political and diplomatic relations within the Strategic Partnership between Mexico and the EU, a favourable framework for the development of the bilateral economic and commercial cooperation. The Romanian official will also hold talks with the president of Mexico’s National Chamber of Commerce (CANACO) and the officials of the PEMEX – Petroleos Mexicanos and PEMEX Transporte Naval. At the same time, the Romanian Economy Minister is to make a speech at Mexico’s Diplomatic Institute, and will meet with officials of several Mexican companies having potential to develop new commercial operations and economic cooperation to Romania.
