Remus Borza, chairman of Hidroelectrica Overseeing Board

Lawyer Remus Borza was appointed as chairman of the Hidroelectrica Overseeing Board, the structure which supervises the activity of the company, nominates the Directorate and approves the incomes and expenditures budget of the energy producer, reports. Borza controls the Euro Insol firm, judicial administrator of Hidrolectrica until June, when the company exited the insolvency procedure. Hidroelectrica ended the first half of the year with a profit of RON 481 M (EUR 109.5 M), from losses of RON 202 M in the same interval of last year, the gain being RON 47 M higher than the level budgeted for the whole year.
