Gheorghe Sasarman returns to Romania with a book entitled “Cuadratura cercului” (“Squaring the Circle”)

Gheorghe Sasarman is one of the major Romanian fiction writers and playwrights of the last four decades. After having lived in Germany since 1983, he returns to Romania to participate in two events organised in Cluj and Timisoara on 1 August, and 8 August, respectively, at which he will be introducing his new book, “Cuadratura cercului” (“Squaring the Circle”). According to a press release cited by Mediafax, Gheorghe Sasarman’s novel, “Cuadratura cercului”, first published in 1975 in a censored edition, and later on in translated versions in France and Spain, is the third book of the “Masters of Romanian SF” series. According to the same source, this series is dedicated to the most influential Romanian science-fiction writers, and intends to recover successful literary works from the second half of the 20th century, and republish them under a collection entitled “Nautilus SF” at Nemira Publishing House.
