The ProSport and ProTV reporters were attacked on Monday afternoon by Steaua manager Mihai Stoica and the bodyguards accompanying the team in Skopje, during the official training session of the team coached by Laurentiu Reghecampf, before the return leg against Vardar Skopje in the Champions League. Stoica and one of the agents grabbed the ProTV journalist’s phone and erased the picture she had taken. Stoica asked the journalists to leave the stadium and insulted them. Alexandra Tanasescu received medical care at a local hospital and obtained a medical-legal certificate. The doctors put Alexandra’s hand in bandages.
Police representatives arrived around midnight local time at the hotel where Steaua’s delegation is staying, in order to identify the aggressor. Stoica admitted his actions but at first refused to go to the precinct.
