Claes Nyqvist, the new Managing Director of Scania Black Sea Unit

Scania Black Sea Unit announced the appointment of Claes Nyqvist in the position of Managing Director of the company starting first of July, according to a press release. After almost 7 years in Scania Black Sea Unit, Tord Holmstrom, the former Managing Director, accepted a new challenge as head of the operations for Scania in Iraq.
Claes Nyqvist has over 14 years in Scania and his experience was developed in different departments such as trucks sales and services sales overseas. After having different positions in Scania CV AB in Sweden, Nyqvist joined the company’s operations from Africa, as a Managing Director for Scania Tanzania, where he had extraordinary results in selling used trucks and services. He was then appointed Sales Director of Parts for Africa, Asia & MiddleEast.
“I hope that I will have a positive impact on Scania Black Sea Unit operations throughout a continuous development of our people, the extension of the company network and through getting a larger portion of the used trucks business and after sales market,” said the new Managing Director.
