Sting holds last concert of Back To Bass Tour in Bucharest

Famous Brit singer Sting, on his real name Gordon Matthew Thomas Summer, comes back to Romania on July 31, for a concert held at Romexpo Complex of Bucharest, on the occasion of Back To Bass World Tour.
The fans will have the opportunity to see in Bucharest the last show of the tour and to listen again to hits such as ‘Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic,’ ‘Demolition Man,’ ‘Desert Rose,’ ‘Every Breath You Take,’ ‘The End of the Game,’ according to a D&D East Entertainment release remitted to Agerpres on Monday. On the occasion of the concert at Romexpo, the British artist can be seen in the posture that consecrated him, namely that of a rock musician.
James Walsh and Mike & The Mechanics will sing in the show opening, starting at 18.00 hours. Sting can boast an impressive musical career, being worldwide acknowledged for his rock music, with innovative elements of jazz, downtempo and classical music. The artist sold approximately 100 million albums worldwide over his entire career, starting with the period when he was a member of The Police band and then solo, starting 1984.
With 16 Grammy Awards, three Brit Awards, one Emmy Award and one Golden Globe, with a special place both in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and in Songwriters Hall of Fame, the artist enjoys a well-deserved appreciation. Within his ‘Back To Bass’ Tour, Sting promises a spectacular concert, together with his band made up of Dominic Miller (guitar), Vinnie Colaiuta (drums), David Sancious (keyboards), Peter Tickell (electric violin) and Jo Lawry (vocals). The concert in Bucharest is organised by Marcel Avram and East European Events, in collaboration with D&D East Entertainment.
