CL: Steaua silence Dinamo in Tbilisi

Romanian champions Steaua Bucharest defeated on Tuesday night Georgian champions Dinamo in Tbilisi 2-0, in the first leg of the third preliminary round of the Champions League thanks to Gabriel Iancu double (65’ and 80’). Romanian goalkeeper Tatarusanu saved a penalty kick in the 60’, which proved to be the psychological moment of the game. Tanase, Chiriches and Bourceanu also had big opportunities in the second half. The second leg will be played in Bucharest next Tuesday. After the game in Tbilisi Romanian coach Laurentiu Regecampf confirmed Tottenham interest on Chiriches transfer. He could go in Great Britain for Eur 8 Mil, the biggest transfer of a Romanian player in history. The owner of the club Gigi Becali is expected to take the final decision
