Romania features monodrama at Shakespeare international festival in Gdansk

The monodrama “Revisiting Shakespeare. The world’s a stage and all the men and women merely players”, directed and interpreted by Emil Boroghina, founding director of the Shakespeare International Festival, president of the Shakespeare Foundation and vice-president of the European Shakespeare Festivals Network, represented Romania at the ‘Shakespeare’ International Theatre Festival in Gdansk, one of the most prestigious European theatrical events, which is held in early August. The shows took place on August 4 and 5 at the Wybrzeze Theatre in Gdansk, and were followed by discussions between the Romanian producers and the public.
