Businessman Sorin Ovidiu Vintu was heard yesterday at the headquarters of the National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) as a witness in the case in which the way in which the Realitatea Media shares were taken over is being investigated, Mediafax informs. At the end of last week the anticorruption prosecutors heard Ioana, Sorin Ovidiu Vintu’s daughter, in the same case. Judicial sources point out that Ioana Vintu was asked by prosecutors about the way in which Realitatea Media shares were taken over after Elan Schwartzenberg left the trust’s shareholders. According to the aforementioned sources, there are suspicions Realitatea Media was taken over abusively by the Strategies Research Investments SRL company whose shareholders are Cozmin Gusa and Maricel Pacuraru. At the same time, the investigators are looking into the way in which Elan Schwartzenberg bought Realitatea Media shares, the aforementioned sources pointed out. Preliminary investigations are being conducted in this case, nobody being placed under criminal investigation, the aforementioned sources added. We remind our readers that Bluelink Communicazione (Cyprus) Limited left the ranks of the shareholders of Realitatea Media SA. The same was done by businessman Elan Schwartzenberg and Vintu’s children.
