Victoria film festival: over 40 screenings, parties and master-classes

The first edition of the Victoria film festival will take place between 22 and 25 August in the small mountain town in Fagaras Co. and will organise film screenings, outdoor parties and discussions with cinema professionals. During the festival, Victoria town will turn into a “mountain resort for urban explorers”. For four entire days, guests, participants and members of the audience will be able to enjoy good films, concerts, parties, artistic events, swimming and cycling. A total of 40 films will be showcased as part of the event, as well as workshops and discussions with artists. Feature films will include Romanian films that have received national and international awards, such as “Pozitia copilului” (Child’s Pose) directed by Calin Netzer, “Toata lumea din familia noastra” (Everybody in Our Family) directed by Radu Jude and “Domestic” (Domestic) directed by Adrian Sitaru. Each night of the festival will be animated by outdoor parties and concerts performed by We Singing Colours, Temple Invisible, Loungerie II, Cobzality, and Robin and the Backstabbers.
