Clarinetist Horia Dumitrache performs ‘Musical intermezzo’ at ICR Budapest

Clarinetist Horia Dumitrache and the Qaartsiluni band will perform a ‘Musical intermezzo’ at the Romanian Cultural Institute (ICR) of Budapest, on August 21, adevarul.ro informs. According to the source, the event will feature works by Robert Schumann, Sergei Newski, Johann Sebastian Bach, Klaus Lang, Maksym Kolomiiets and Jeppe Just Christensen. The Qaartsiluni band was formed in the spring of 2012 by conductor Lajos Rozman, with musicians he collaborated with in various formulas, in view of exploring the musical patrimony and the contemporary art of Central and Eastern Europe. The debut project, named ‘Central-European Portraits,’ brought together musicians from Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Romania.
