PSD Ilfov sanctions Ninel Peia for visit to Taiwan

PSD Ilfov decided to sanction Deputy Ninel Peia by warning for the visit he and Deputies Ovidiu Iane, Costica Canacheu and Remus Cernea made to Taiwan because he had not been previously approved by the Parliamentary Group and expressed public views that did not comply with PSD’s political strategy. “The County Permanent Bureau has decided to sanction Bureau member Mr Ninel Peia by warning for the following reasons: his actions during the visit to Taiwan were not in accordance with the party’s objectives and political agenda; he expressed public views on behalf of the party that did not comply with the party’s (government’s) political strategy; he had not been approved by the Parliamentary Group of the Chamber of Deputies to make those statements”, a press release issued by PSD Ilfov and cited by Mediafax yesterday stated.
Furthermore, Ninel Peia failed to inform PSD leaders, central management or the management of the Chamber of Deputies of his visit to Taiwan.
