Steaua Bucharest won on Sunday its away game against Dinamo Bucharest, in the leg 4 derby that took place on Bucharest’s National Arena, 2-1 (2-0).
Steaua’s goals were scored by Latovlevici (5th min) and Fai (39th min, owngoal). Rotariu scored for Dinamo in the 67th minute.
The gendarmes issued fines totaling RON 4,250 against fans that were in the stands on Sunday evening, the Bucharest Gendarmerie informs. “A group of approximately 200 persons was evicted from the stadium, the persons being identified and searched in line with legal provisions, 18 fines totaling RON 4,250 being issued so far for involvement in public disorder, climbing the fences that protect the pitch, refusal to present access tickets, refusal to leave the stadium, entering the sports arena drunk, consumption of alcoholic beverages inside the sports arena and insulting the law enforcement officers. Six of these persons have also been banned from sports competitions and games for a period of 6 months,” a communiqué remitted to Agerpres on Monday shows.
According to the aforementioned source, Dinamo’s fans forced the line of stewards in the southern stands and moved towards the sector occupied by Steaua fans, trying to enter into conflict with them. At the same time, four persons are accused of using pyrotechnic materials within a sports arena, a deed for which they risk spending 2 to 5 years in jail and being banned from sports competitions for a period of up to 3 years.
