Conservatives to run in European Parliament elections alone

The Conservative Party’s founding chairman Dan Voiculescu said on Tuesday that, as things look now, the Conservatives will run in the elections for the European Parliament alone and he added such reality rushes in a serious ideological debate. The debate is needed ‘since it involves the option for a European political family (at the previous elections, the alliance with the Social Democrats – PSD – automatically brought an option for the Socialists’ group) (…) The Conservative Party looked for an identity either in the clearly right-wing British and German Conservative area or in the more ‘centrist’ area of Social-Liberalism’, the Conservative founding leader argued in a post on his personal blog.
