Carpatica Asig subscriptions up 77 pc at 6 months

The subscriptions of Carpatica Asig cumulated in the first half of 2013 a volume of RON 228.96 M, up 77 pc against the similar interval of last year, when the company posted subscriptions of RON 128.75 M, informs. The insurance company continued to develop its non-auto portfolio during the mentioned period too, posting an increase by 135 pc of subscriptions in the non-auto business category. The most significant evolutions were registered by property insurances, whose volume of subscribed gross premiums advanced by 143 pc, home insurances that increased by 267 pc, the gross premiums subscribed in this segment going up from RON 2.6 M in H1 2012 to RON 9.56 M a year later. A positive dynamic was also reported for professional civil liability insurances (+113 pc), CMR insurances (+71 pc) and personal accident insurances (+57 pc).
For the interval under analysis, the total value of damages paid by the company soared 58.5 pc, from RON 85.9 M to RON 136.16 M.
